This Privacy Policy applies to websites, applications, events and other services that we provide under the Hide brand, hereinafter referred to as the service.
3. The data we collect
When you download the App and create an account ("Account"), we may collect certain information about you ("Registration Information"). Using our service also generates some information, such as when you logged in and how you used this service. We may also collect data from third parties, for example, when you access the service through an account you have on another platform (such as Facebook, Google or Apple), or when you upload information from your account on another platform to complete your profile. You can find detailed information about what data we collect in the table below:

| Facial geometry data | The photo verification feature provided in the app allows us to confirm that the photos taken during the process match the photos you uploaded to your HIDE profile. For all users, photos taken during the photo verification process are stored on our servers and used solely for the core functions of this feature. These photos are then compared exclusively on the server side to confirm a match. We do not use and will not use the collected biometric data to identify users. All biometric data collected during the comparison process will be securely stored on our servers, will not be shared with third parties, and will be processed in strict accordance with our privacy and data protection standards. Upon deletion of an account, any biometric data collected during the process, as described above, will also be deleted without the possibility of recovery. If you decide to cancel the photo verification process at any point before it is completed, no biometric data related to this process will be saved. |

For your protection and the protection of all our members, we may ask you to provide information to verify your identity or authority to act on behalf of a member before we can respond to the above requests. We would not want someone else to control your data! Please note that we may refuse requests, including if we cannot verify your identity, if the request is illegal, or if it may infringe trade secrets, intellectual property, privacy, or the rights of others. If you wish to obtain information concerning another member, such as a copy of messages received from them, the other member must make the request themselves.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep data only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes (as stated in section 4) and in accordance with applicable law.
If you decide to stop using our service, you can delete your account and your profile will no longer be visible to other members. Please note that we will automatically delete your account if it remains inactive for two years. After deleting the account, we will delete your data according to the following provisions:
- To protect and secure our users, we retain data for three months after account deletion or for one year after its suspension. During this period, we keep your data for investigating illegal or harmful actions. Data retention during this period is based on our legitimate interests as well as the interests of potential third-party victims.
- We retain certain data in accordance with legal data retention obligations: in particular, we keep transaction data for 10 years in line with tax and accounting requirements, card information for the entire period during which a user may dispute a transaction, and traffic/visit logs for one year to comply with legal data retention obligations. We also retain records of consents provided by participants for 5 years to demonstrate our compliance with applicable law.
- We retain limited data based on our legitimate interests: We retain customer support communications with you for 6 years, including the dates of communications, as well as the inaccurate location of downloads/purchases for years to support our customers, confirm security, support our customer service decisions, ensure the security of our rights and ensure our ability to make claims, information about the existence of previous accounts and subscriptions, which we delete three years after the closure of your last account to ensure accuracy and accuracy. We also retain profile data for one year pending litigation, to file, substantiate, or defend legal claims, and data necessary to prevent the opening of new member accounts, according to which the opening of new accounts has been prohibited for the period necessary to ensure the security and protection of the important interests of our members.
- We retain data based on our legitimate interest if there is an unresolved or potential issue, claim, or dispute requiring us to retain the data, particularly if we receive a subpoena or data preservation request (in which case we need to retain the data to comply with our legal obligations), or if the data is otherwise necessary for legal proceedings.
Where permitted by law, we may retain and use data that does not, by itself, personally identify you or relate specifically to you for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to improve our service and develop new features, technologies, and services, as well as to ensure the security of Hide services.
10. Children's Privacy Protection
Our service is intended only for individuals over 18 years of age. Individuals under 18 are prohibited from using our platform. If you suspect that a user is under 18, please use the complaint feature available within the service.
11. Changes to the Privacy Policy
This policy may be amended periodically. We are always looking for new and innovative ways to help you navigate and strive to provide up-to-date information about our approach to data processing. We will notify you before any material changes take effect so you have time to review them.
